Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Project Manager to join a leading clinical research organization for a fully remote permanent position. The Senior CPM will oversee global clinical development programs, drive study execution, timelines, and operational success across complex Internal Medicine trials with a strong focus on cardiometabolic indications.

The role requires extensive global trial management experience, leadership of cross‑functional teams and vendors, expertise in GCP/ICH

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Project Management or a related field.
Extensive clinical project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organization environments.
Proven success managing global clinical trials, including cardiometabolic indications.
Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Direct global trial programs from startup through closeout, ensuring deliverables, budgets, and timelines remain on track.
Lead cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to support successful execution across regions.
Manage project risks, resources, forecasts, and operational challenges while maintaining quality and compliance.
Oversee studies within cardiometabolic areas including metabolic, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular research.
Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams while driving process improvements.
