Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Project Manager to support a growing biotechnology and clinical research organization. The role is fully remote and ideal for an experienced clinical operations leader with expertise managing global trials across Cardiovascular, MASH, Hepatology, Obesity, and Dermatology.

Responsibilities include directing Phase I-IV trials, liaising with sponsors, CROs, and sites, and overseeing budgets, timelines, and milestones while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of clinical project management experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments.
• Proven experience managing clinical trials within Cardiovascular, MASH, Hepatology, Obesity, and/or Dermatology therapeutic areas.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and global clinical trial operations.
• Experience managing CROs, vendors, budgets, timelines, and multinational clinical studies.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Nursing, or a related discipline preferred.

• Monitor trial progress, identify operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain study quality and performance.
• Oversee study timelines, enrollment metrics, vendor activities, and financial tracking to support successful clinical program execution.
• Lead cross-functional study teams and provide strategic guidance throughout protocol implementation, database lock, and study closeout activities.

• $160,000 - $175,000 annually plus bonus
