Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Clinical Project Leader to oversee global Phase II–IV cardiovascular and metabolic trials from startup through closeout. This remote-friendly contract role is based out of Princeton, NJ, focusing on large, multi-country studies with sponsors, investigators, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in senior clinical project leadership, deep GCP/FDA knowledge, and a track record in site activation, trial execution, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Senior-level clinical project leadership experience (7+ years) in CROs.
• Experience overseeing Phase II/III/IV trials.
• Strong understanding of GCP and FDA regulations; regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Phase II–IV trials from startup to closeout.
• Ensure studies stay on schedule, within scope, and compliant with protocol and regulations.
• Coordinate activities across sponsors, sites, investigators, vendors and internal teams.
• Identify risks and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Oversee site startup, regulatory submissions, and investigator readiness.
