Job summary

Oracle Health is seeking a Clinical Subject Matter Expert to support clinical workflows and informatics across assigned products. You will collaborate with Product Management, engineering, UX, AI, and customer teams to translate real-world care delivery into clinically meaningful product features for US and international markets.

You will define clinical use, assess risks, and translate evidence-based practice into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of clinical practice or health IT experience with understanding of care delivery and clinical workflows.
• Clinical licensure or professional certification preferred (RN, MD, or PharmD).
• Experience translating clinical expertise into product development, implementation, optimization, or customer-facing informatics work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to identify and document clinical risks, assess workflow impacts, and communicate concerns and recommendations clearly.
• Working familiarity with clinical ontologies and terminologies (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, ICD) and interoperability standards (HL7 and FHIR), including regional variation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical SME for assigned products and workflows, collaborating with Product Management across delivery milestones.
• Define intended clinical use, users, care settings, workflow variants, handoffs, and product boundaries, including normal and fault conditions.
• Translate evidence-based practice and customer feedback into actionable product, UX, AI, and content recommendations.
• Review designs for clinical validity, usability, workflow fit, and global relevance; inform roadmap priorities and coordinate clinical input.
• Identify and assess clinical hazards and patient safety impacts; maintain hazard logs with mitigations and evidence.
• Support release management through clinical impact assessments, readiness reviews, and communication of limitations and risks.
• Create and maintain release documentation, job aids, resource guides, and training materials as products evolve.
• Represent Oracle Health in customer discussions, demonstrations, webinars, and industry events.
• Define clinical value measures and translate post-release findings into improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate on content governance, explainability, and interoperability across products.
