Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a senior Quantitative Clinical Pharmacologist to join our infectious disease programs. You will lead Clinical Pharmacology, Modeling and Simulation, applying PK/PD and exposure–response modeling to inform dose selection and trial design.

The role blends hands-on pharmacometrics with strategic leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support development, regulatory interaction and lifecycle management across assets.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant life science discipline.
• Experience in human clinical pharmacology, PK, modelling & simulation.
• Hands-on experience with population PK/PKPD.
• Experience with regulatory interactions or submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Pharmacology, Modeling and Simulation activities for infectious disease assets.
• Apply PK/PD and modelling principles to support development and lifecycle decisions.
• Develop population PK/PD and exposure–response models; inform trial design.
• Present model-based evidence to governance boards and regulators.
• Contribute to regulatory documents, protocols and submissions.
• Collaborate across clinical, regulatory and disease-area teams.
