Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of pharmaceutical work experience.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provides consultative pharmacy services related to medication use and pharmacotherapy.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders for safety and accuracy.
• Plans and delivers staff and patient education on medications and therapy.
• Participates in the pharmacy dispensing process ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
• Provides after-hours on-call coverage and may participate in COOP/disaster response activities.
• Maintains effective working relationships with medical staff and nursing teams.
