Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina's MCP Florence Orthopedics division is seeking an experienced manager to lead one or more department areas and supervise multiple staff members. You will have authority over hires and promotions and contribute to strategic priorities.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to optimize workflows, ensure compliance, and drive improvements in patient care quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.
• 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience; state licensure/certification as required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage department functions and supervise staff, including subordinate supervisors.
• Support budget processes and contribute to achievement of operational goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows, productivity, and quality outcomes across delivery settings.
