Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina's MCP is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee one or more ambulatory clinics, guiding patient-centered service and operational efficiency. The role leads several staff, drives budget processes, and collaborates with leaders to optimize clinical and non-clinical workflows across delivery settings.

The ideal candidate will have a formal healthcare or business background with significant ambulatory management experience, strong communication, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field, health care management, business administration or a related degree (or equivalent experience) required.
• Master’s degree in healthcare related field such as Nursing, Healthcare Administration or MBA is preferred.
• Five (5) years of management work experience in ambulatory care leadership or equivalent clinical area required; demonstrated ability to work with physician leaders; proven ability to lead change and manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for Ambulatory clinics and lead multiple functional areas.
• Collaborate with leaders to establish procedures, improve workflows, and increase productivity.
• Plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate department activities to meet organizational goals.
• Lead budget planning, expenditures tracking, and performance improvement initiatives.
