Alameda Health System is seeking a Trauma Program Manager to lead nursing services in assigned patient care areas in Oakland. The role emphasizes implementing organizational philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures to improve patient care.

The position requires coordinating with physicians, various departments, and nursing staff, while ensuring compliance with infection control and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years full-time experience as Clinical Nurse III with AHS.
• Alternative: two years as Clinical Nurse IV with AHS.
• Alternative: four years as Charge Nurse or three years as Head Nurse in a large acute facility.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing may substitute for one year of required experience; Master’s in Nursing may substitute for two years.

• Maintains administration system on each unit to facilitate patient care and staff satisfaction.
• Collaborates with physicians and professional staff to coordinate care delivery.
