Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Must possess current licensure in the state of employment.
• Two years nursing experience required.
• One year's supervisory experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess a strong knowledge of clinical nursing and management principles.
• Must have a basic working knowledge of computer and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Report to Warden/Facility Administrator for daily clinical operations.
• Manage and supervise daily nursing/clinical activities.
• Supervise nursing and non-licensed health care providers and evaluate performance.
• Provide direct patient care within licensure scope.
• Ensure adequate staffing and fill in during short staffing periods.
• Perform triage and physical assessments.
• Perform emergency care and coordinate treatment orders.
