Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, current state licensure, 6 years of nursing experience, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Current licensure in the state of employment.
• Six (6) years nursing experience.
• One year’s supervisory experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Excellent communication skills and strong knowledge base of clinical nursing and basic management principles.
• Basic working knowledge of computer and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Warden/Facility Administrator for daily clinical operations.
• Manage and supervise daily nursing/clinical activities.
• Supervise nursing and non-licensed health care providers and evaluate performance.
• Provide direct patient care within licensure scope.
• Ensure adequate staffing and fill in during short-staffing periods.
• Perform triage and physical assessments.
• Perform and direct emergency care and obtain treatment orders.
