Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Clinical Administrator who will direct and supervise clinical and administrative resources to deliver holistic, culturally competent, quality, safe and cost-effective nursing care.

The role reports to Nursing Leadership and serves on shift to support multiple units, ensuring regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, and efficient bed management while promoting professional practice and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or health field preferred.
• Graduates must come from nationally accredited programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise nursing and patient care services across units.
• Coordinate with Nursing Leadership on staffing and governance.
• Support patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Develop staff and manage performance.
• Engage in Magnet/Pathways to Excellence activities.
