Job summary

DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager, Organ Recovery to oversee the Organ Recovery department. You will supervise, manage, and develop staff, ensuring efficient organ procurement operations and adherence to policy guidelines.

The role requires leadership experience in healthcare, knowledge of organ/tissue transplant fields, and a strong ability to coordinate with various stakeholders in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of healthcare experience required, including leadership or supervisory experience
• OPO experience preferred; relevant outside experience may be considered
• Maintain healthcare licensure (RN preferred) and/or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and train positions within the Organ Recovery department
• Oversee daily operations related to organ recovery for supervised roles
• Coordinate organ procurement functions and activities with Organ Donation Coordinators
• Ensure compliance with DonorConnect, UNOS, and AOPO policies and strategies
• Collaborate with Operations Manager, Organ Recovery Supervisors, and related roles regularly
