Job summary

CommUnityCare seeks an Associate Chief Health Officer (ACHO) to lead clinical services, quality improvement, and population health across the organization. The role requires medical licensure in Texas and leadership experience in a health system focused on value-based care.

The ACHO collaborates with CHO and senior leadership to implement strategic directions, improve patient outcomes, and advance health equity while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Five years of clinical practice experience.
• Two years in a clinical leadership role, e.g. Medical Director or Associate Medical Director.
• Current and unrestricted license from the Texas Medical Board or equivalent (PA/NP) and board certification as applicable.
• CPR certification and licensure requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Works with CHO to set strategic direction for health services.
• Oversees clinical programs to ensure quality and equity.
• Mentors clinical leaders and manages staffing, development and performance.
