Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science
• Upon hire: National Laboratory Medical/Clinical Scientist/Technologist
• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 4 years Training or experience in high complexity testing
• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and directly supervise Laboratory department activities.
• Conduct clinical diagnostic testing on patients, including blood draws and specimen processing.
• Perform therapeutic phlebotomy.
• Foster teamwork and maintain a professional image with patients, families and clinicians.
• Ensure compliance with Providence standards and policies.
