Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or education and training equivalent to the requirements for a B.S. degree in a biological or chemistry specialty.
• 1 year of clinical experience
• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist – ASCP or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – AMT or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist – ASCP

Responsibilities

• Leads a group of laboratory employees working on a particular shift and coordinates daily operations of the clinical laboratory/section.
• Serves as a resource to laboratory staff and physicians for resolution of unusual problems.
• Supports Providence Alaska Medical Center's mission with patient-focused care.
