Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Bachelor’s degree required; military experience may substitute.
• California CLS license required.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions.

Responsibilities

• Verify correct specimen and test for each patient.
• Perform analyses using approved methods and conduct quality control.
• Validate results with reference ranges and correlate test parameters.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments; document maintenance.
• Release or report results per SOPs; train assistants.
• Provide supervision to Lab Assistants and clerical staff as required.
