Job summary

Responsibilities

• Adhere to laboratory procedures for collection, processing, analysis and reporting of patient test results.
• Follow quality control policies and document corrective actions when tests deviate from specifications.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and inform supervisor or Medical Director.
• Perform a wide variety of lab procedures using manual and automated methods in multiple disciplines.
• Maintain instruments and equipment on daily/weekly/monthly schedules and document upkeep.
• Review the accuracy of patient results prior to release or reporting.
