Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Irvine Laboratory seeks an experienced leader to manage day-to-day operations and ensure timely, accurate reporting within a labor-management partnership. You will supervise credentialed and non-credentialed staff, maintain testing competency, and drive quality assurance, safety, compliance, and accreditation.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in a healthcare leadership role, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and California licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare related field.
• Bachelors degree in medical lab science or equivalent, or health care related field AND minimum six (6) years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field OR minimum nine (9) years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field.
• California license options required at hire (various CLIA/CS licenses listed).

• Translates business plans into tactical actions and ensures policies are followed.
• Maintains testing and training standards and evaluates personnel competency.
