Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation seeks a Clinical Laboratory Lead Consultant to oversee laboratories performing high complexity clinical analyses under CLIP. You will provide expert guidance on test result quality and interpretation, ensure compliance with CLIP and QA/QC programs, and supervise personnel responsible for accurate reporting of patient results.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Be a doctor of medicine or osteopathy licensed in the state and be certified in clinical pathology or equivalent.
• Option 2: Be a doctor of medicine/osteopathy or podiatric medicine licensed in the state with at least 1 year of lab training or experience in high complexity testing.
• Option 3: Earned doctoral degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical lab science with 1 year of lab training or experience in high complexity testing.
• Option 4: Earned master’s degree in a relevant science with at least 2 years of lab training or experience in high complexity testing.
• Option 5: Earned bachelor’s degree in a chemical/physical/biological science or medical technology with at least 4 years of lab training or experience in high complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratories performing high complexity clinical analysis.
• Provide expert consultation on quality of test results and interpretation.
• Ensure CLIP compliance and quality management system adherence.
• Maintain QC/QA programs and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure testing systems provide accurate results across pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic phases.
• Supervise and ensure trained personnel are competent and compliant.
• Coordinate with Lab Managers/Directors and provide onsite or remote consultations as needed.
• Ensure safe environment and compliance with regulations and proficiency testing requirements.
