Job summary

VHC Health seeks an experienced Health Informatics Specialist to bridge clinical practice and technology. You will optimize EHR workflows, ensure compliance, and drive lifecycle management of clinical information systems.

You will implement, configure, test, train, and support Epic and related applications, while mentoring staff and guiding governance to align with clinical and strategic priorities. The role emphasizes collaboration across IT, clinical, and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Healthcare IT, CS, or related field.
• Advanced understanding of Epic EHR and healthcare workflows.
• Experience with analytics and regulatory requirements (HIPAA/CMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, configuration, testing, and go‑live readiness for clinical information systems.
• Provide end‑user training and ongoing support to clinicians and staff.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in governance for system enhancements.
