Job summary

Mingle Health seeks a Senior Clinical Informatics Data Engineer to lead data integration and quality reporting for a value-based care platform. You will develop and optimize SQL data pipelines, collaborate with clinical teams, and translate CMS and quality measures into reliable data assets.

The role is fully remote, requires HIPAA-compliant practices, and offers the chance to impact patient outcomes by enabling accurate performance reporting for providers and payers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Healthcare/Clinical Informatics or equivalent.
• Experience with medical/clinical information systems used by clients (EHR, Practice Management).
• Experience with Quality Reporting and CMS measures.
• Familiarity with APM, MIPS, and APP programs.
• Ability to translate CMS specifications into database objects for reporting.
• Ability to guide clients in constructing queries and evaluating data quality.

Responsibilities

• Understand CMS specifications and translate them into data models for quality measures.
• Analyze claims and clinical data using MS SQL and other tools.
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes (SSIS, Python).
• Support data loading, migrations, and data quality improvements.
• Create ad-hoc SQL reports for client consulting and data validation.
• Collaborate with remote teams to document data needs and metrics definitions.
• Perform QA on integration processes and repository metrics.
