Job summary

Emmes Group seeks a Sr. Clinical Informatics Analyst (Essex Management) to support enterprise and informatics software systems for cancer trials. You will coordinate help desk activities, provide project admin support, and work with investigators, data managers, and IT staff.

The role emphasizes strong communication, regulatory compliance (GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA), and ongoing SOP/guide improvements. Occasional EST evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clinical research IT systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to quickly learn and understand complex systems and workflows.
• Experience coordinating projects with investigators, clinicians, analysts and IT teams.
• Familiarity with GCP, 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Document, categorize and track support tickets using an ITSM tool; respond to inquiries and resolve issues; escalate complex items as needed.
• Provide real-time tier 1/2 technical and operational assistance to clinical trial sites, patients, and field staff.
• Ensure interactions and resolutions follow GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA and study protocols.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities across multiple clinical research projects, tracking milestones and deadlines.
• Serve as central liaison among project leads, investigators, analysts, technical teams, and staff.
• Support leadership with clinical informatics reporting, dashboards and briefing materials.
• Assist to improve Standard Operating Procedures and User Guides.
• Availability to work occasional EST evenings (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
