Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Staff Clinical Ethics Consultant to provide ethics consultation services within a multi-hospital, quaternary care system. This role is part of a group practice focused on high-quality clinical ethics support.

The successful candidate will mentor bioethics fellows, contribute to quality improvement, and provide expert input across the enterprise at local, regional, and national levels.

Qualifications

• Acute care clinical ethics consultation experience.
• MD/DO, JD, PhD, international equivalent, or field-specific terminal degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical ethics consultations on a weekday call schedule (no evenings/weekends/holidays).
• Travel to Main Campus and regional hospitals in Northeast Ohio as needed.
• Document consultations for QA/QI and database records.
