Northside Hospital is seeking a Senior Clinical Ethicist to deliver expert-level ethics consultations and lead program development across the system. The role collaborates with care teams, patients, families, and leadership to shape policies aligned with national ethics standards.

Responsibilities include organizing ethics rounds, leading complex consultations, data analysis for quality improvement, and expanding the clinical ethics practice through mentorship and education.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in ethics or healthcare field.
• Post-graduate bioethics certificate if not in bioethics.
• Minimum 3 years acute care hospital clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years full-time as Clinical Ethicist.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person expert level ethics consultations 7 days a week.
• Lead ethics rounds and multidisciplinary care conferences.
• Oversee planning, execution and measurement of ethics service initiatives.
• Analyze ethics data to guide quality improvement and policy updates.
• Mentor and expand the clinical ethics practice within the system.
