Job summary

Imperative Care in Campbell, California is seeking a Sr Clinical Engineer to lead pre-clinical testing and product verification for vascular and stroke devices. On-site, full-time role collaborating with clinical customers and cross-functional teams.

You will gather data, develop test plans, ensure design control compliance, support training, and translate customer input into design inputs. Requires a BS in Engineering and 2+ years in medical device development, with ability to travel.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent; 2+ years in medical device development.
  • Experience with vascular/neurovascular interventions or surgical robotics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485 and Design controls.

Responsibilities

  • Gather clinical/user data to inform design and testing of vascular/stroke products.
  • Interact with clinical customers and cross-functional teams on product development.
  • Create and execute design verification and testing plans aligned with QMS.
  • Support pre-clinical testing, training, and customer-facing activities.
  • Translate customer input into design input requirements and performance specs.
