MedStar Health is seeking a seasoned Clinical Dietitian to provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy for inpatients. You will assess, plan, educate, and implement nutrition care for diverse conditions while coordinating with physicians and the dietetics team.

You will participate in rounds, contribute to QAPI or education projects, and maintain credentials, with opportunities to present at Journal Club and professional forums. Strong communication and public speaking are essential.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree with accredited dietetic internship completed.
Master's degree required after January 1, 2024.
5-7 years of progressive clinical nutrition experience required.
3-4 years with specialty certification preferred.

Mansioni

Consult with physicians and health professionals regarding patient nutrition status and diet plans.
Develop nutrition assessment, evaluation and follow-up plans for patients at nutrition risk.
Provide nutrition education and documentation in medical records.
Cross-cover and train in Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics as needed.
Present case studies and participate in Journal Club discussions.
