MedStar Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian with expertise in clinical nutrition to provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy for inpatients. You will assess, develop, and document nutrition plans in the medical record, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

You will participate in rounds, journal clubs, and education activities, with cross-coverage in NICU and Pediatrics as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition Science with accredited dietetic internship.
• Master’s degree required if completed after January 1, 2024.
• 5–7 years of progressive clinical nutrition experience.
• 3–4 years experience plus a specialty certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with physicians on patients’ nutritional status and diet plans.
• Develop nutrition assessment, evaluation and follow-up plans.
• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary meetings; provide education as needed.
• Cross-cover in Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics as required.
