Job summary

GSK is seeking an Associate Director Clinical Development Project Manager in the US to lead PM for one or more Clinical Matrix Teams (CMTs) within a matrixed life sciences environment. The role owns chartering, governance, risk management, and reporting to keep projects on time and within scope.

You will drive stakeholder communications, develop integrated plans, and deliver executive‑level updates and dashboards. Hybrid work arrangement with on‑site collaboration days is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in a matrix team environment.
• Experience building core PM artifacts (charters, scope statements, WBS, RAID).
• Experience with PM planning and reporting tools (MS Project, Planisware, Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience facilitating governance and producing executive summaries.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of CMT project management assets from charter to closeout.
• Develop and maintain charters, scope, governance, risk, and reporting artifacts.
• Lead governance, meet cadence, and KPI‑based progress updates for leadership.
• Maintain logs and trackers (RAID, risk, issue, dependency) and ensure traceability.
• Deliver status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for stakeholders.
