UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Denial Management Specialist III to join the Revenue Cycle Department. This 100% work-from-home role involves advanced billing/denial responsibilities and requires at least 3 years of clinical follow-up experience with complex surgical procedures, plus EPIC proficiency.

CPC certification is a plus. Preference given to candidates near the DFW area; details discussed during interview.

Competenze

• 3 years medical billing or collections experience.
• Ability to work clinical denials for complex E&M services and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of medical claims recovery and/or collections rules and regulations.

Mansioni

• Review, research and resolve coding denials for complex diagnostic studies, endoscopic, interventional and/or major surgical procedures.
• Contact payers to obtain reimbursement and resolve denial issues.
• Prepare and submit claim appeals based on payer guidelines for complex denials.
• Identify denial, payment, and coding trends to reduce denials and maximize collections.
