Job summary

Advanced Group in Alameda, CA seeks a Contracts Manager II to draft, negotiate, and manage clinical trial and research agreements, partnering with research and clinical teams to facilitate execution and risk management.

You will advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, support lifecycle management, and contribute to process improvements. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of negotiation experience in clinical contracts, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience negotiating clinical trial agreements and related research contracts.
• Experience supporting clinical development, research, or R&D contracting activities.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of contract risk assessment and contract management processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, and related research contracts.
• Support vendor, consulting, service, and other R&D agreements.
• Identify contractual risks and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
• Advise internal teams on contract terms and obligations.
• Support contract lifecycle management and contract documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate efficient contract execution.
• Contribute to contracting process improvements and standardization efforts.
