Job summary

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Contract Manager to draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of company agreements, including confidentiality, consulting, services, SaaS, HCP, and clinical trial contracts.

You will manage contracting from intake to execution and work closely with Legal Department counsel and business stakeholders. The role requires a JD and at least five years of experience negotiating commercial and clinical research contracts, with strong negotiation, confidentiality,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and JD required with at least five years negotiating commercial and clinical research contracts.
Ability to identify legal, commercial, operational, and compliance issues in contracts.
Proven negotiation abilities and business acumen in a global setting.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of company agreements including confidentiality, consulting, services, SaaS, HCP, and clinical trial contracts.
Manage and support clinical study contracting from intake through execution, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate contract approvals, resolve issues, and escalate complex matters to the CLO and other leaders.
Develop templates, playbooks, and processes to improve contract management and operational efficiency.
Prepare contract summaries and provide guidance to cross-functional teams.
