Root Center for Advanced Recovery is seeking a Senior Assessment Counselor in Hartford, CT. The role involves counseling, treatment planning, intake, and coordination with medical and social service teams to support clients with substance use disorders and related behavioral health needs.

The ideal candidate holds an appropriate licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT or Psychologist) and has at least three years of relevant full-time experience.

Qualifications

• Requires current licensure as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist.
• Minimum three years of full-time relevant experience in social work, mental health, addiction counseling or related field.

Responsabilités

• Provide counseling (individual, family, group) and education to clients.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans with immediate and long-term goals.
• Perform intake, screenings, and assessments to determine eligibility and needs.
