Compleat Kidz in Chapel Hill/Raleigh, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician III to perform advanced maintenance, repairs, and improvements in a busy healthcare clinic. The role requires carpentry, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor construction tasks performed with minimal disruption to clinic operations.

The technician works independently across clinic locations, supporting operations while ensuring safety, compliance, and patient-friendly environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance or handyman experience required.
• Valid driver’s license without driving restrictions (drive company vehicle).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs across clinic locations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
• Complete basic carpentry, drywall, painting, and fixture repairs.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Monitor HVAC systems and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inspections, and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire safety, and healthcare facility standards.
• Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
