Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history in EMR.
• Prepare patient for procedures and assist physicians as needed.
• Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate.
• Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician.
• Serve as patient liaison and advocate as needed.
• Schedule surgeries and various diagnostic tests and provide scheduled date to the patient.
