Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license and CPR required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience on an interdisciplinary team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history while inputting data into the EMR.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians as needed.
• Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate.
• Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies as directed by the physician.
• Serve as patient liaison and advocate, as needed.
• Schedule surgeries and diagnostic tests and communicate dates to patients.
