Job summary

Washington Regional Medical System in Eureka Springs, AR is seeking an LPN/RN nurse to provide direct patient care in our clinic. The role partners with the Clinic Manager and physicians to support procedures and patient flow, and includes front office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Licensure and Certifications: Valid LPN or RN license and CPR, required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinic setting, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history while inputting data collected into the electronic medical records system.
• Prepare patient for various types procedures and/or examinations and assist physicians, as needed
• Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate
• Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician
• Assist patient by providing direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician
• Serve as patient liaison and advocate, as needed
• Schedule surgeries and various diagnostic tests and provide scheduled date to the patient
