Job summary
The Senior Manager, Climate Resilience Planning at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Construction & Development leads the development and implementation of climate resilience strategies for NYCT Subways, Buses, and Bridges & Tunnels assets. You will work with senior staff to advance capital projects that reduce climate risks for customers and assets.
This role requires strong leadership, data analytics, GIS, and stakeholder engagement, with responsibilities spanning planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; minimum 8 years relevant planning experience.
- Minimum 4 years in management of large projects or supervisory role.
Responsibilities
- Manage planning initiatives pertaining to climate resilience across capital investments.
- Oversee budgets, scopes, and work plans for projects.
- Supervise consultants and vet deliverables with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and use data analytics and GIS tools to inform decisions.
- Present concise analyses to leadership and government officials.
