Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Florida is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead climate adaptation projects within the Resilience Services Practice.

The role combines technical leadership, risk assessment, and client engagement across multiple Florida offices, including Miami and Tallahassee. You will coordinate with risk analysis and engineering teams, drive project delivery, prepare technical reports and presentations, and contribute to business development through conferences and professional engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Stormwater, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 5-8 years of work experience.
• Experience working on climate change vulnerability, risk assessments, risk reduction strategies/ alternatives.
• Proven capabilities for technical project delivery and working with interdisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience communicating technical analysis and results to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members while ensuring QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects/tasks and project teams on risk assessment, adaptation alternatives, preliminary engineering design, and client communication, initially focusing on roadway infrastructure.
• Collaborate with risk analysis and engineering teams; work with climate scientists, engineers, planners, economists, policy specialists, and risk modelers.
• Contribute to a diverse team advancing the Resilience Services Practice through data-driven analysis and decision-making.
• Prepare data and visualizations for interpretation or presentation of findings.
• Maintain quality control standards for measurements, statistics, and reporting.
• Assist with development and scoping of medium-sized projects.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining research, findings, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on project execution.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for data integrity and documentation.
