Job summary

VertexOne is a leading provider of cloud-based SaaS software powering utilities and energy providers. We are seeking a Client Success Manager II to cultivate strong client relationships, drive renewals and growth, and serve as a trusted advisor in a SaaS environment across North America.

The role requires complex account management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to present to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in account management within the utility industry.
• 5 years of experience understanding full meter-to-cash processes in utilities.
• 3+ years with vendors managing products and services.
• 3+ years managing client contracts and SLAs.
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is an asset.
• Ability to extract data with Excel to create graphical presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships within assigned accounts.
• Drive renewals and growth opportunities.
• Serve as primary client contact for inquiries and escalations.
• Educate customers on VertexOne products and value.
• Manage time effectively to ensure satisfaction and growth.
• Participate in client meetings with vendors and internal teams.
• Share best practices to improve processes and outcomes.
• Schedule and lead executive business reviews with clients.
• Prepare and deliver client status updates and reviews.
• Coordinate with sales on renewals and upsell opportunities.
• Assist with product documentation.
