Senior Client Service Associate, Waltham MA |Hybrid (3 Days In Office)
Our client is a well-established independent wealth management firm in the greater Boston area, advising ultra-high-net-worth families, foundations, and endowments across a sophisticated platform that integrates investment management, portfolio administration, reporting, and family advisory services. They are seeking a driven, client-focused professional to join a small, collaborative Client Service team where values, work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm for client relationships matter as much as credentials.
This is a high-ownership role with direct client interaction from day one. You will serve as a primary point of contact for ultra-high-net-worth clients, working alongside three Client Service colleagues and partnering closely with the Investment and Operations teams. The firm is looking for someone with real ambition and a clear vision of growing into a Relationship Manager over time.
What You Will Do
- Own day-to-day communication with a book of ultra-high-net-worth clients, fielding inquiries and service requests while maintaining seamless coordination with their attorneys, accountants, and other advisors
- Build and deliver polished portfolio reports and client presentation materials, drawing on Addepar and internal reporting tools to turn data into clear, actionable insight
- Keep a close eye on portfolio positioning, cash levels, and liquidity needs, flagging anything that requires attention
- Execute cash transactions including wires and account-level movements accurately and on time
- Shepherd new clients through onboarding from start to finish, including account setup, documentation, and coordinating asset transfers with custodians and outside parties
- Prepare for and participate in quarterly client meetings, handling logistics, materials, and follow-through
- Work side by side with the Investment team on portfolio implementation and related reporting
- Help clients navigate tax season by tracking K-1s, collecting tax documents, and staying in close contact with their accountants
- Roll up your sleeves on team projects and special initiatives from the moment you arrive
What They Are Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an RIA, multi-family office, private bank, or institutional investment environment
- A track record of supporting ultra-high-net-worth clients and working alongside their attorneys, accountants, and trustees
- Hands-on familiarity with Addepar or a comparable portfolio reporting platform strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment vehicles across the spectrum, including private equity, hedge funds, and real assets
- Comfort with the operational side: account opening, wires, transfers, and alternative investment subscriptions
- Series 65 in hand or actively working toward it, with longer-term interest in CFP or CFA credentials
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Someone who communicates clearly, operates with integrity, works hard, and genuinely loves working with clients
