Job summary

Mindgruve, a global digital agency, is seeking an Account Director to lead strategy, financial performance, and long-term client success across key accounts. You will guide account teams, build trust with senior clients, and ensure the work delivers measurable business results.

You will set goals, manage budgets, mentor teams, and collaborate with Strategy, Creative and Media leads. Compensation ranges from $95,000 to $120,000, with benefits and remote-friendly options for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 10+ years in client leadership with at least 2 in senior roles.
• 3–5 years of people management or team leadership.
• Experience leading integrated campaigns; Commerce experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Asana, HubSpot and Google Workspace.
• Proven success leading complex accounts.
• Strong leadership that inspires teams and clients.
• Connects client needs to practical marketing plans.
• Communicates clearly and confidently.
• Manages budgets and financial performance with care.
• Supports team development and growth.
• Skilled negotiator and steady presence in senior meetings.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and plans for each client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients.
• Manage account budgets, forecasts and financial health.
• Lead and mentor account teams to keep them engaged and growing.
• Work with Strategy, Creative and Media leads to deliver clear, cohesive work.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships.
• Act as a senior contact for client concerns and solve issues quickly.
• Help with proposals, pitches and new business opportunities.
