Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to identify and develop new business with focus clients, reframing their thinking and co-creating value by delivering innovative solutions. You will drive design-wins to revenue and collaborate with global teams across divisions and locations.

The role requires a strong background in semiconductor sales, excellent problem-solving, and consultative selling skills, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent sales experience).
• 7+ years of semiconductor sales experience.
• Proficient in problem-solving, program management, management of major accounts, and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build new business with focus clients using Microchip’s engagement process.
• Teach customers through insight and consultative selling, linking to Microchip solutions.
• Identify key client stakeholders and coach them to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions.

You will be expected to reframe the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.Job ResponsibilitiesUtilize Microchip’s Client Engagement Process to drive design wins to revenue at select focus clients.Use insight and consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offer unique perspectives on their business, which link back to Microchip‘s solutions.Drive the company business relationship with the assigned clients.Identify the key client stakeholders and coach those stakeholders to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions within their organization.Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across clients’ divisions and geographical locations.Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients.Work closely with local and regional applications engineers to provide unique, compelling and innovative solutions to assigned clientsRequirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent sales experience) with a strong client engagement track record7+ years of semiconductor sales experienceProficient in essential competencies including problem-solving, program management, management of major accounts with an adept knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Prior Salesforce experience is preferredThis position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.Travel Time:25% - 50%Physical Attributes:Hearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:90% Sitting, 10% Standing/WalkingPay Range:We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
