This is a customer-facing semiconductor sales role responsible for developing strategic account plans, expanding executive and engineering relationships, identifying new design-win opportunities, and converting engagements into measurable revenue. This is an in-office role that includes regular visits to customers.**Responsibilities include:*** Deepen and expand Microchip’s relationships at the assigned strategic account(s) across all levels of the organization.* Be the primary point of contact for all matters related for the assigned key accounts.* Understand the customer’s business objectives, roadmaps, systems, and competitive landscape and apply that to Microchip’s growth strategy.* Take overall responsibility to ensure Microchip provides exemplary service.* Work in a team environment and coordinate between product marketing, engineering operations, legal, and executive management.* Use in-house systems and software tools to help manage our business accurately and in a timely manner.* Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.**Requirements/Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.* 7+ years of semiconductor or electronic component sales.
