Job summary

Marsh is looking for a Client Advisor in the FINPRO/Architect, Engineer & Contractor Professional Liability practice in Dallas, TX. This hybrid role requires you to be in the office at least three days a week and to lead client-facing activities, including risk assessment and placing sophisticated insurance programs.

You will build relationships with underwriters, advise clients, and deliver renewal and placement strategies while presenting insights to prospective clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years industry experience; Architect & Engineer experience preferred.
• P&C license required or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large or complex accounts and coordinate go-to-market strategy.
• Understand clients' business priorities and risk management needs to advise accordingly.
• Use risk expertise to review exposures and develop solutions for complex clients.
• Develop renewal and placement strategies with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives.
• Present to prospective clients and identify new product opportunities.
• Build and maintain client relationships and ensure needs are met.
• Oversee production of client deliverables and final placements.
• Engage in senior-level client interaction and problem solving.
• Act as a thought leader with knowledge of changing risk and market conditions.

Marsh is looking for an Client Advisor in our FINPRO/Architect, Engineer & Contractor Professional Liability practice. This position will be based in Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

• In this Client Advisor role, you will develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients.
• Builds and maintains relationships with underwriters, and is involved in the placement of sophisticated insurance programs
• Helps identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients, and is the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
• Completes policy management activities and delivery of reviewed policy to client and helps address client inquiries as necessary.
• Delivers technical expertise and taking the lead role in presentations of RFP’s

We will count on you to:

• Independently oversees and manages large or complex accounts and brings the entire team together to formulate the procedure and go to market strategy.
• Works to maintain a near complete understanding of the clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients. 1
• Utilizes expert risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients’ exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for complex clients’ needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions. True
• Develops, presents, and oversees the execution of renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives across all zones where product, industry or account criteria dictate.
• Presents to prospective clients, identifies the need for new products, develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients, and ensures that their complex risk management needs are appropriately met.
• Oversees the production of client deliverables and delivering the final placement to the client to ensure the quality of materials delivered to clients.
• Engages in independent senior-level client interaction and demonstrates expertise in problem solving, areas of coverage and client relationships.
• Serves as a thought leader within the Company and maintains an in depth knowledge of changing risk and insurance market conditions.

What you need to have:

• 10+ years industry experience; Architect & Engineer experience preferred
• Financial and Professional liability experience a must
• P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
• Bachelors' degree preferred
