Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Senior Client Accountant in New York to manage full cycle accounting, client reporting, and general ledger maintenance across multiple assignments. The role emphasizes leadership within the accounting team and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• Requires one to three years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, or other real estate accounting software preferred; Strong MS Office Proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform Full Cycle Accounting including cash management, AP/AR, accruals and reconciliations for multiple clients.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages timely and accurately per internal controls and client requirements.
• Research and communicate complex accounting issues to clients and property management.
• Prepare and review fixed asset ledgers and depreciation per owner requirements.
• Assist audits by providing documentation and information.
• Coach and guide junior Accountants; lead team meetings and onboarding for new assignments.
• Other duties as required.
