Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management seeks an experienced Client Account Manager – Senior Associate to deliver exemplary service to institutional clients in the Jersey City area.

You will partner with a senior team to support key client relationships, onboard new accounts, and ensure smooth operations across asset classes. The role emphasizes client-focused service, accuracy, and collaboration with Institutional Sales and Investment Specialists to form a dedicated service team for each client.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience at an asset management firm with a client-service focus.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-focused with ability to understand clients' service needs.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to multi-task.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day client service contact for assigned institutional clients.
• Oversee onboarding in collaboration with COM team and set up accounts and investment guidelines.
• Communicate client-impacting regulatory and business changes to clients and stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings and due-diligence events as needed.
• Maintain client records, coordinate cash flows and asset transfers, and respond to audits/third parties.
• Flag and escalate significant client issues internally.
• Support client-impacting business and regulatory projects.
