Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Security Network Engineer to own the stability, security compliance, and lifecycle of all classified network infrastructure. You will lead cryptographic equipment, encrypted connectivity, and network operations across all classification levels, embedded in the Cyber team, with emphasis on STIG/JSIG compliance and COMSEC accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field
• 8+ years designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network infrastructure in classified environments
• Deep expertise with routing, switching, and firewall technologies including Cisco IOS-XE, NX-OS
• Experience with COMSEC operations, key management, and NSA coordination
• Strong understanding of STIG, JSIG, and RMF for network infrastructure
• Experience enforcing network segmentation and firewall rules in multi-domain environments
• Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
• Industry certs such as CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise, CISSP or equivalent
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deploy network solutions across all classification levels
• Maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and cryptographic equipment
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis for permanent fixes
• Maintain STIG compliance and JSIG posture in the network architecture
• Collaborate with teams and participate in CAB for network-impacting changes
• Oversee lifecycle of network hardware and cryptographic equipment
• Serve as escalation point for complex network incidents and COMSEC issues
• Coordinate with ISSM on ConMon requirements
• Manage classified WANs across sites and domains
• Enforce firewall rules and segmentation aligned with JSIG requirements
• Assist with AD/DNS/DHCP/WSUS and patch repositories
• Contribute to automation via Ansible playbooks
• Support ISSO-led vulnerability remediation and evidence collection
• Assist with backup/recovery, RPO/RTO targets
• Transition environments to steady-state post-ATO
