Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Security Network Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for all classified network infrastructure. You will own the stability, security compliance, and lifecycle of all network hardware, encrypted connectivity, and cryptographic materials across all classification levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 8+ years designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network infrastructure in classified environments.
• Deep expertise with routing, switching, firewall technologies including Cisco IOS‑XE, NX‑OS.
• Experience with COMSEC operations and NSA coordination.
• Strong RMF, STIG and JSIG knowledge applied to network infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead RCAs and mentor engineers; active U.S. Secret clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deploy network solutions across all classification levels.
• Maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and cryptographic equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure STIG/JSIG compliance and secure, highly available architectures.
• Collaborate with CAB and cross-functional teams on network-impacting changes.
• Own lifecycle of network hardware, firewalls, and cryptographic equipment.
• Serve as escalation point for complex network incidents and COMSEC issues.
• Coordinate with ISSM on ConMon requirements and multi-domain connectivity.
• Maintain network segmentation policies and firewall rule sets across domains.
• Support services like AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS; assist with automation via Ansible.
