Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an IT Security Engineer to own and maintain classified infrastructure end-to-end, from OS hardening to virtualization management. You will work with security and engineering teams to ensure compliant, resilient, mission-ready environments.

Responsibilities include administering Windows and Linux, VMware vSphere, STIG compliance, AD/DNS/DHCP, and automation with Ansible and scripting. Eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and hardening Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) in classified environments.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere administration, including provisioning and patching.
• Ability to apply and validate STIGs using SCAP/SCC tools.
• Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise patch management.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) and Ansible.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux systems, maintaining hardened baselines.
• Manage virtual infrastructure (VMware vSphere) including patching and STIGs.
• Apply and validate STIGs across Windows, RHEL, VMware with documentation.
• Configure and maintain AD, DNS, DHCP, and patch repositories.
• Develop automation with Ansible playbooks to enforce configurations.
• Monitor health, performance, and security; respond to alerts.
• Support vulnerability scanning and remediation with timely evidence.
• Maintain backup/recovery procedures across environments.
• Assist in security assessments with demonstrations and evidence.
